Value of Ourselves
Why is it that we don't value ourselves and our ideas? Why
is it that so many of us seem to be beat down and without
hope of getting up? We let others place value on our lives.
We let others dictate how much we earn and we let others'
words pierce our skin. Enough of letting others do what
they wish and before you know it you've gotten lost. Your
dreams are lost your esteem is shot and you don't know the
best way to overcome the smallest of obstacles.
A du Pont scientist said that the atoms of your body
contain the potential energy of more than 11 million
kilowatt hours per pound by this estimate the average
person is worth $85 billion dollars. Imagine that we as a
human being are worth at least $85 billion dollars. As you
roll your eyes you say "Wow if that were only true." Well
why can't it be true? There is no reason other than our own
self limiting thoughts and ideas. This is not just for the
few but it is for the many.
We didn't come into this world with limiting ideas or
thoughts. We came here with possibilities. Even those who
have a disability from birth don't know any better and
often they find a way around the limit. Our energy can be
limitless and our ideas are valuable and our potential to
create a greater place to live with more abundance is more
possible than ever before. It is time for each of us to
look in the mirror and think or yell "Why Not?"
For 15 years I was an executive in corporate and early on I
realized that I liked working for small upstart companies.
The reason I liked that was because my ideas weren't so far
fetched and my energy and positive attitude could be
utilized to its fullest. By seeking out a company that
wanted to grow and wanted creativity I kept my enthusiasm.
I worked harder for each of those companies than I ever did
for the giant corporate environment. Each time the small
company grew too big for its britches I knew it was time to
share my ideas and enthusiasm with others. Now that I've
left corporate I teach those same ideas that I harnessed
for myself about releasing the old limiting ideas and
thoughts and getting to a place of possibility. It's about
creating
abundance mentality that is
of value to you the rest of your life.
Just because the stock market is not doing well does not
mean that we as a society are not doing well. It certainly
does not mean that we lost our abundance mentality. It just
means that a very few are creating fear in the many. Every
person that has gone through surgery has a certain amount
of recovery time and the energy of the body is the energy
that heals the body. By thinking of the stock market and
the economy in such terms that it is in recovery from not
one but two major surgeries and it needs healing. The most
rapid way to heal from surgery is by focusing on the
positive in thoughts and actions and reminding ourselves
that we are valuable. Reminding ourselves that our value as
an individual and as a country can help eliminate lack and
fear.
Dust off your old vision and dreams and become a
participant in the healing of the wounds through use of
your 11 million kilowatt hours per pound. Allow your body
and mind to bring back that positive energy and get rid of
those fears. Realize that you are a positive force to be
reckoned with and that you do make a difference. Dream
bigger and place a high value on you. You are special and
worth a whole heck of a lot.
