Thinking positive is easier than baking bread

I know we've each met someone who is so positive that it seemed annoying. That person is particularly annoying when you've had a difficult day or you're feeling down about life. That person is someone who just grates on you because you are not even near feeling that great. They seem to be sitting on top of the world and from your perspective you can't even think of them ever having difficulty with anything.

Take heart life is a gem that just needs a little polishing and it allows you to easily turn the negative into a positive. Think of it this way. Turning your thoughts around is easier that turning a piece of cloth into a shirt. It's easier than turning a pile of wood into a house and it's easier than turning flour into bread. That ability to turn our lives around through thought is so much more simple than nearly anything else you must begin to wonder why there is so much negativity surrounding us.

It seems that all my life I've had this ability to get others to laugh or smile. I am one of those who always, well nearly always, sees the best in everything. But what I learned from a wise man when I was young was that to make another happy is to make yourself happy. So when life is beating me down with an ex-husband that is irrationally vindictive or when I see someone suffering unnecessarily I get on the phone and begin to search for that person that needs my positive outlook. If we can only see and helps others in difficult situations we are then able to help ourselves more than any doctor or prescription can.

So doesn't this make you wonder why it seems so difficult to turn our thoughts around to the positive? If you listen to those around you and become caught up in their emotions, which everyone does at some point you cannot help but get to feeling their negative vibe. This feeling allows us to begin to look at ourselves and reflect on what is going wrong instead of what is going right.

By making a slight change to our thought process we can affect a change in the chemistry of our brains and our bodies. Saying something a simple as my favorite moniker “Happy, happy, happy” will turn things around. Not only will it turn things around but it will happen very quickly. Your challenge is to remember to do this type of shift when things are going off track.

Bread making became easier many years ago with the automatic bread maker. This became such a fad in many homes and brought back the sense of family and simplicity. When life is complicated we can become more plagued by downward thinking and become more negative overall. Remember that the easiest thing you can change in your world is your mind. Really you can change your mind and easily and so why not change it with a more positive thought? Happy, Happy, Happy.
